Coming Home to the Soul, a contemporary musical, blending original songs written by @homegrowncollectivemusic , returns March 4th, 2026 as part of the Foundation for New American Musicals Showcase at the Catalina Jazz Club.
This musical explores what it truly means to come home to yourself emotionally, spiritually, and creatively.
The origin story of this show began during the pandemic, when artists in Los Angeles were craving community. In response, the Homegrown founding team created Sunday Sauce—songwriting sessions where musicians came together, shared their stories, and wrote music as a collective.
Through these gatherings, the original draft of the musical was written in just six weeks, and premiered as an award-winning musical production at the @hudsontheatres for the @hollywoodfringe .
